Tin Can Bay, we bought some fantastic prawns here! The bay was amazing very tropical, the water is very shallow and as warm as bath water!

Delicious Red Spotted King Prawns...from Australia, nice and fresh! We ate them with some sweet chilli dipping sauce and a beer, Mmmm!

Remember the last picture...it was 1km to the lookout...nice. Of course we 'went exploring' on the return journey...not sure how far we went but it was more than 1km!

There were many huge bromiliads in the forest. Lamington has some of the oldest rainforest in the world, the climate has been stable here for millions of years.

A Eucalyptus tree in bloom. We didn't see any Koalas though we did hear them in the evening. Koalas make nasty grunting noises, a lot like a pig!

The landscape is volcanic, the remenants of the Focal Peak Volcano and the Tweed Shield Volcano. Both are long gone (24 million years ago!)
